VOSR International, The Voice of Shortwave Radio is an every other week shortwave radio broadcast that covers all things Shortwave Radio. The show is broadcast on WRMI from their transmitters in Okeechobee Florida at 100KW and 315 degrees. It is an every other week program that airs every Saturday at 0300 UTC on 9455 kHz and also on Saturdays at 2300 UTC on 15770 kHz with rebroadcasts on the next Saturday. Note the UTC time and day. This means in the US, the 9455 kHz show will be on Friday night at 11pm Eastern time, 10pm Friday's Central time, 9 pm Fridays Mountain time, 8pm Fridays Pacific time, 7pm Fridays Alaskan time and 5pm Fridays Hawaii time. Also, these times will change with Daylight savings time.
I started to add pins on a map to show where listeners who sent in emails and communications are from. A few of these listened on a WebSDR. Some listeners just gave a state so I placed it in the middle of the state. Some gave Northeast of the state so I placed it in an approximate location. I'll try to keep this updated as emails come in so give me a week or so before you inquire about your pin on the map. Ancient Grass who changed his handle to Mohawk Valley SWL will be doing the whole Show tonight. I just got back to Molokai today from a week in the hospital. I had a kidney stone removed.
