VOSR International, The Voice of Shortwave Radio is a monthly shortwave radio broadcast that covers all things Shortwave Radio. The show is broadcast on WRMI from their transmitters in Okeechobee Florida at 100KW and 315 degrees. It is a Monthly program that airs the first Saturday of every month at 0300 UTC on 9455 kHz with rebroadcasts on the other Saturdays at the same 0300 UTC time. Note the UTC time and day. This means in the US, the show will be on Friday night at 11pm Eastern time, 10pm Friday's Central time, 9 pm Fridays Mountain time, 8pm Fridays Pacific time, 7pm Fridays Alaskan time and 5pm Fridays Hawaii time. Also, these times will change with Daylight savings time.
VOSR International has some exciting news!! Beginning June 7th at 0300 UTC on 9455 kHz, we will now be transmitting a new broadcast every other week. So each show will only have one rebroadcast. Our new timeslot at 0300 UTC helped make this possible. And now our second announcement! I started to add pins on a map to show where listeners who sent in emails and communications are from. A few of these listened on a WebSDR. Some listeners just gave a state so I placed it in the middle of the state. Some gave Northeast of the state so I placed it in an approximate location. I'll try to keep this updated as emails come in so give me a week or so before you inquire about your pin on the map.
