VOSR International Listener Map Pins
I started to add pins on a map to show where listeners who sent in emails and communications are from. A few of these listened on a WebSDR. Some listeners just gave a state so I placed it in the middle of the state. Some gave Northeast of the state so I placed it in an approximate location. I'll try to keep this updated as emails come in so give me a week or so before you inquire about your pin on the map. The Hindenburg Disaster May 6 1937
I Chose the Hindenburg Disaster as the first historic broadcast in our New Segment on Historic Shortwave Radio Broadcasts. While this didn't initially broadcast on Shortwave Radio, it did get broadcast over Shortwave and that really helped the story spread throughout the world, in a time when we didn't have instant news like today.
