Recording Day at VOSR International

Monday and Wednesday are recording days here at VOSR International. It was a productive morning and I got quite a few segments recorded. My wife surprised me by having a shirt made so now she has to explain to everyone here on Molokai what VOSR International is. Lol

VOSR International on 9455 kHz

There were some issues tonight with the 9455 kHz broadcast. WRMI was transmitting a different show. I emailed them and they got back to me in a few minutes. The system was reading from a different automated system. They were able to correct it about half way through. I will have this broadcast, rebroadcast next week on 9455 kHz. It will also broadcast Saturday at 2300 UTC on 15770 kHz so you can check it out that way if you get that frequency. Sorry for any confusion and Thanks for listening...

Radio Dust Covers from JSE

Every time I post pictures of my radios, I get questions on where I got my dust covers. I get all mine from JSE out of Michigan. It's a great local company with awesome communication. They have so many radios that they have covers for It's mind blowing. If they don't have it they will make it and it won't cost you a ton. You can have your Ham Radio call sign added or a nickname. My Hallicrafters S-38C

Here's a few pictures of the Hallicrafters S-38C that I picked up about a month ago. It just arrived in the mail. The packing wasn't very good and the old cardboard back broke off and the whole radio filled up with Styrofoam peanuts and tiny pieces of Styrofoam. I took off the back and the bottom and I have some work to do on this one. The feet and rubber spacers are all brittle and breaking apart. I'll will replace capacitors too.
